About The Role 

We are looking for a Network Engineer (f/m/d) to become part of our team, which works closely with our tech and building teams.  
  

  • You will design and build the network infrastructure for our Internet Service Provider business  

  • You will operate, design and build the backbone network which connects each of our buildings to the internet and offer services like VoIP and IPTV 

  • You will operate and design the client facing network infrastructure and tie it into our GROPYUS service portfolio 

  

About You 

  • You bring in-depth expertise in one or more relevant telecommunications technologies: Optical Transmission, Optical Access (GPON, PtP Ethernet). 

  • You bring in-depth experience in working with one or more of the relevant Technologies: MPLS, BGP, IGPs (like IS-IS), PtP, PON, EVPN, CGNAT, IPv6, DNS, BNG 

  • You have a good understanding of the Internet landscape, including Providers, Peering, Internet Exchanges and Internet Registries (such as RIPE).  

  • You like to automate as much as possible, with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Netbox, Python, Bash and alike 

  • You share code, configurations and documentation via Git, and you apply devops methodologies whenever possible 

  • You always stay on top of things with tools like Prometheus/Grafana and opsgenie 

  • You communicate, you convince, you educate while always thinking holistically with a strong focus on the end-user experience 

  • You simply just enjoy providing awesome network connectivity
