Senior Security Engineer, IoT / Embedded Systems (f/m/d)

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer (f/m/d) who will be responsible for:

• Supporting our smart home software and hardware engineering teams to build and operate secure systems
• Proactively finding and implementing security improvements within our smart home product
• Planning the long-term evolution of our hardware to deliver state of the art secure IoT devices
• Shaping the future of our smart home strategy to achieve a secure and privacy respecting environment for our residents

The security team works in a cross-functional setup and all disciplines work together on most topics.

About You

• You bring experience in the domain of IoT / embedded security
• Ideally you worked with firmware on ARM devices and Linux systems
• You bring experience in application and network security as well as establishing and maintaining a secure development lifecycle in an agile environment
• You do basic risk management to guide your prioritisation
• You communicate fluently in English (writing and speaking)
• You have a transparent and collaborative communication style and have experience in stakeholder communication (esp. executive management, legal department, and software engineering department)
