Senior Security Engineer, Security Operations (f/m/d)

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer (f/m/d) who is responsible for:

• Building security services with our Security Operations team, such as monitoring systems and public key infrastructures
• Working with our software engineering teams to build and integrate custom interfaces with the security services
• Implementing a high-quality SOAR to reduce the operational workload in the team and provide deep insights for analysis
• Analysing security incidents, resolve them, and use the learnings to improve our overall security posture
• Collaborating closely with our legal and compliance teams providing assessments and security advice

The security team works in a cross-functional setup and all disciplines work together on most topics.

About You

• You have strong experience in security operations and incident analysis
• You have a good understanding how to integrate security services like monitoring
• You do basic risk management to guide your prioritisation
• You know how to navigate the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar)
• You can communicate fluently in both written and spoken English
• You have a transparent and collaborative communication style and have experience in stakeholder communication (esp. executive management, legal department, authorities, and software engineering department)
