About the Role

The Operational Plan sets out our targets for further product (BS or Building System) evolvement, introduction of new BS variants and the expansion of our Richen factory. In this light the Industrial Engineer works closely at the interface to product planning (BST) and maps out respective manufacturing concepts, sets out factory performance goals in line with our overall objectives and defines material flows. He matures these concepts through application of specific methods for a smooth hand-over to the Implementation team and production in Richen.

Your Tasks

• Process Planning – process mapping, cycle time calculations and assessments, process development and qualification 

• Planning of cycled assembly systems incl. material flow planning (batches, material quantities, replenishment, etc.), line balancing 

• Value stream planning according Lean Manufacturing principles 

• Factory simulation and material flow optimization - through simulation, mathematical optimization, scheduling, ... - Operations Research 

• New Product Introduction (NPI) - ramp-up and launch management 

Your Profile

• Experience in designing and optimizing industrial production systems (min. 6 years) - synchronized flow, cycled assembly 

• Affinity for numbers, analytical and documented approach to work 

• Competence in specific methodology, such as REFA, MTM, Value Stream Mapping, Waste Analysis, Workplace Organization, Standardized Work, linear / non-linear optimization 

• Communicative person, familiar to cross-team collaboration 

• Fluency in German and English
