People Operations Manager - Vienna (f/m/d)

About the Role

We are looking for a People Operations Manager (f/m/d) to assist in ensuring a smooth employee  experience and people business processes in our Vienna office. We want to bring GROPYUS to the next level in people services, processes, and analytics with your support.

Your Tasks

• You are the first point of contact to engage and educate employees and managers around people policies and programs
• You will be responsible for all operational processes across the employee lifecycle, from the entry to the exit of our employees.
• You will be responsible for preparing employee working contracts and other documents
• You will be the interface with our external payroll provider
• You will be supervising the office manager
• You will assist in building scalable processes and setting up the tools to prepare the organization for growth beyond its current shape and structure 

About You

• You have already gained 3+ years of practical experience in HR, People Operations, or similar areas, preferably in a startup setting
• You are well experienced in working with the Austrian labour law
• You have first experience in preparatory payroll accounting
• You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• You're fluent in German and English
• You have a proactive, flexible approach and interest in trying out new ways of doing things
